Mrs. Lillie Estell Bourne, 90, of Durant, Okla., a retired school cook, died Saturday, July 12, 2003, in Durant.

She was born Jan. 16, 1913, in Cooper, Okla., to William Jasper and Mellie Lytle Jameson.

She was a former resident of Clovis. She married Woodrow Wilson Bourne on Aug. 31, 1935, in Durant. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Family members said she enjoyed crocheting, sewing and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Hershell Ray Bourne; four brothers, Clyde, Vernon, Jasper and W.J. Jameson; and three sisters, Violet Kennedy, Maggie Jewell Bourne and Rosanell Miller.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Billy Wayne Bourne (and wife, Glenna) of Topeka, Kan., and Donald Wilson Bourne (and wife, Juanita) of Durant; a daughter, Evelyn Joyce Estell Wilkins (and husband, John) of Mineral Wells, Texas; a brother, Dewey Preston “Ted” Jameson of Las Cruces; a brother-in-law, James Bourne (and wife, Marie) of Durant; two sisters-in-law, Rosalee Bourne and Dorotha Vails, both of Durant; seven grandchildren, David Wilkins and Shari Dalton, both of Mineral Wells, Bryan Bourne of Liberty Township, Ohio, Craig Bourne of Austin, Texas, Jerry Bourne of Pontotoc, Miss., Keith Bourne of Topeka and Curt Bourne of Houston; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The Revs. David Wilkins and Anthony Williams will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Durant, Okla.

Pallbearers will be Bob Dalton and Bryan, Craig, Jerry, Keith and Curt Bourne.

Arrangements are by Coffey and Murray Funeral Home of Durant.
