    On Sunday afternoon, Clovis and Curry County residents finally experienced a slight break in the weather, with a cloud cover that brought sprinkles of rain and cooler temperatures. After days of unrelenting, triple-digit temperatures and sweltering summer sun, the cool-off provided welcome relief.
