Anna Crook, R-Clovis, is encouraging area residents to attend next week’s meeting of the State Environment Air Quality Bureau to oppose efforts to impose a strict cap on greenhouse gas emissions.     News outlets are reporting heavily about the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, which hit the Mississippi coast on Aug. 29, 2005.
