CLOVIS — Three inmates who escaped from the Clovis jail on Friday were captured Tuesday after a standoff with police at an apartment near Dennis Chavez Park. Shots were fired, but the nearly three-hour standoff on Clovis’ west side ended at 6:09 p.m. with no injuries reported.
