    The Eastern Plains Council of Government's Board of Directors approved the 2012-2013 budget and election of officers Wednesday at its annual meeting in Tucumcari. The budget ($361,587) is lower then last year's budget since Work Force Solutions in no longer part of EPCOG, said Sandy Chancey, EPCOG executive director. The directors started the meeting with the approval of the 2005 audit and an update on the 2006-2008 audits.     Eighty students from at least 10 Clovis elementary schools spent the last week and a half learning math and science at Marshall Middle School through hands-on projects. The second annual Junior Wildcat Math and Science Camp was an extended learning opportunity for incoming seventh-graders to get a jump on math and science, teachers said.
