    CLOVIS — After a spirited discussion on the need for recreation, and what role the city government should play in filling that need, Clovis city commissioners approved a grant application for an archery and winged shooting range and training center at Ned Houk Park.     The Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for the Pioneer Days Parade, scheduled for 10 a.m. June 3 along Main Street.
