  • Tornado warning issued in southeast Curry County

    A tornado warning is in effect until 6:30 p.m. in southeastern Curry County, according to the National Weather Service. According to the NWS, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located at 5:13 p.m. near St. Vrain with the possibility of hail up to two inches in diameter. At 5:55 p.m., a tornado was confirmed 9 miles northeast of Ranchvale, or 11 miles north of Clovis, heading northeast at 30 mph.
