    A 61-year-old Portales woman was killed Friday night in a vehicle crash near the intersection of West Second St. and South Ave. C. Martha Polanco Lozano was transported to Roosevelt General Hospital then to a Lubbock-area hospital where she died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to Portales police. Police Chief Christopher Williams said the driver of the other vehicle, a 1996 bus, initially left the scene but later returned.
