    Four public regulation commissioners Wednesday scolded fellow Commissioner Jefferson Byrd for sending an energy-related survey that inaccurately connected them to it. Byrd, of Tucumcari, said he would send a message to the recipients making it clear the online survey was his and not the Public Regulation Commission's. Byrd is running for commissioner of the State Land Office. He said he thought the cover letter indicated he was behind the survey.     A local educator has been honored by two recent board appointments. Donald Elder, history professor at Eastern New Mexico University, was reappointed by Governor Michelle Lujan-Grisham to the New Mexico Museum of Space History commission.     Clovis Police are investigating two shooting incidents that happened Thursday in the city. Clovis police lieutenant Trevor Thron reports in a news release there was an incident in the vicinity of Sixth and Ross Streets in Clovis where a suspect is alleged to have “posed a firearm” and fired one round into the air.
