Obituary: Carmen E. Craig

Carmen E. Craig, 62, of Clovis, NM, passed away on May 7, 2024. Closed casket visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Muffley Funeral Home, 1430 Thornton St., Clovis, NM with a Rosary to follow at 7:30 pm at Our Lady of Gudalupe Church, 108 N Davis St., Clovis, NM. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with Father Eli Valadez officiating. Burial will take place at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens, 1601 E Llano Estacado, Clovis, NM.

Carmen was born in Tucumcari, NM, in the same city where she met the love of her life, Bryan Craig. Bryan and Carmen spent 41 years together and were married on September 12, 1990.

Carmen was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandma. She loved spoiling her grandchildren, going to the casino with her husband, and traveling in her R.V. She loved her pets, all of which were rescues. She displayed her faith in God by her willingness to help strangers and family any way she could. She was loved by so many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Desiderio and Manuelita Garcia and nine siblings. She is survived by her husband, Bryan Craig, four children, Chris Craig of Canyon, TX, Lori Sorensen of Hereford TX, Jennifer Marquez (Juan Marquez) of Albuquerque, NM and Mathew Craig of Clovis, NM. She is also survived by five siblings, her grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
