Curry County Extension Council

The Curry County Extension Council met March 20 at the new office at the Fairgrounds. Seven extension members were present. All three county extension clubs were represented.

A budget committee was appointed. The Adult Apron Service Project was reported to be successful with aprons going to Wheatfield and other facilities. Fabric and an apron pattern is available at the extension office for anyone who would like to make adult aprons. A CPR refresher course had been presented earlier that morning.

Mental health first aid trainings are in plans for future programs. Mindy Turner, the county extension agent, creates a newsletter that is sent out each month to all club members. For more information call: 575-763-6505
