CCC board discusses salary increase

The Clovis Community College (CCC) Board of Trustees discussed the possibility of a 3% salary increase for all faculty and staff starting July 1.

Heather Lovato, chief financial officer, said the institution will not raise any tuition or other fees at the board’s study session on Wednesday.

“That (the increase) was signed by the governor,” Lovato told the News

No decision was made.

Discussion over the increase, as well as capital outlay and bond monies will be hosted at the next regular meeting on April 10.

As of right now, Lovato knows they have money set aside in capital outlay for an HVAC system, the cosmetology program, and vehicle replacements.
