Man convicted in May 2021 incident

Jose Maldonado, 25, of Clovis on Tuesday was convicted by a Curry County jury of kidnapping, criminal sexual penetration and burglary in a May 2021 incident.

He faces up to 30 years in prison. Sentencing is scheduled this week.
