Marshall's coming to North Plains Mall

A lease has been recorded for a Marshall’s department store to locate at the North Plains Mall, according to Curry County Clerk Annie Hogland.

“Our indexing indicates a memorandum of lease agreement was recorded in our office … between North Plains Mall and Marshalls,” Hogland wrote in an email.

The agreement is for 10 years, according to the 12-page document Hogland attached to her email.

The document contains a diagram that shows the Marshall’s store will occupy a portion of the space that used to house the Dillard’s store that left Clovis in 2020.

Information on when the store would open was unavailable.

Mall General Manager Leeann Glen declined comment.
