Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
The city of Clovis is seeking representatives to serve on its Animal Control Task Force.
The Animal Control Task Force makes recommendations to the Clovis city commission regarding the implementation of the animal control program and city code sections related to animals, according to a city news release.
Membership will include a veterinarian, a representative from the High Plains Humane Society, three members at large living inside the city limits and one resident from Curry County living outside the city of Clovis.
