Eloisa Padilla, age 84, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, December 15, 2023. Visitation to be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at The Chapel of Angels, 1430 Thornton St. Rosary will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 10:00 AM with Mass of the Resurrection to follow at 10:30 AM, Father Eli Valadez officiating, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 108 Davis Street. Burial to follow at Mission Garden of Memories, 2900 W 7th Street in Clovis. Michael Baros, Fernando Mendoza, Billy Padilla Jr., Daniel Padilla, Joe Padilla Jr., and Eddie Padilla Jr. will serve as pallbearers.
Eloisa was born on July 5, 1939, to Hilario Baros and Barbarita Urioste in Dilia, NM. She would pray the rosary every day. Loving nothing more than watching her novelas, making crafts and cooking for her beloved family. She was a very loving and caring soul.
Survivors include her children: Loretta Padilla, Chris Padilla and Johnny Padilla, all of Clovis; and her grandchildren; Jonathan Padilla and Ciara Padilla. She goes on to join her husband of 42 years; Juan “Johnny†Padilla, who she missed from the moment they separated in 2008 until her passing. Her parents, Hilario and Barbarita Baros, and her two brothers; Speridon “Speedy†Baros, and Liborio Baros, have also been reunited with her in heaven.
