A 42-year-old motorcyclist was killed Saturday night after a collision with an SUV, police said.
Clovis Police Capt. Roman Romero stated in a news release that Shonta “Chevy” Hall was ejected from a Harley Davidson onto the grass on the north side of Wheaton Street. Hall was dead when police arrived.
The accident was reported at 6:17 p.m. near Wheaton and Madison Road.
Police said the driver of the SUV was on the scene when they arrived and was cooperating with investigators.
The Clovis Police Department Major Crash Team was activated.
