Sylensers hosting card tournament

Sylensers, a local gaming business, will be participating in the “Magic the Gathering” commander level national tournament.

“We’re hosting a tournament in December and one winner will receive one invitation to the national tournament,” Natalie Kentzall said.

Kentzall and her husband Larry are owners of the gaming business at 220 Commerce Way in Clovis.

Natalie Kentzall said 24 people will be allowed into the event in December on an “open until full” basis. She added details of the entry fee and exact date and time of the event can be obtained by a phone call to the business: 575-935-5860.

She describes Sylensers as a gaming lounge for video games and tabletop gaming.

Starting membership is $10 and you get two free hours with that, Kentzall said.

The gaming lounge is open 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. during the week, Saturday noon to 1 a.m. Sunday and Sunday noon to 8 p.m.
