Big R plans 'soft opening'

Big R, the new “anchor store” in Clovis’ North Plains Mall, will open its doors Saturday. North Plains Mall owner Sam Mick confirmed Saturday’s “soft opening.”

“Big R is a very good store. Top notch. They have lots of clothing and a wide variety of merchandise for farmers and ranchers,” Mick said.

The store’s formal grand opening is scheduled for Nov. 4.

“I believe the community will appreciate them being here,” Mick said.
