Portales Country Club celebrates 75 years

As part of Portales Country Club’s 75th anniversary, the club offered 75-cent greens fees Saturday.

The club was open to the public and hosted a ribbon cutting, a putting contest and offered food, according to PCC webmaster and bar supervisor Kelsey Prince.

Prince’s grandfather, H. G. Prince, helped open the club in 1948.

Kelsey Prince said Saturday’s event was the last celebratory event of the club’s 75th anniversary.
