No injuries reported in Main Street incident

Shots heard in the vicinity of Tenth and Main streets Saturday night brought Clovis’ Draggin’ Main’s “Saturday Night Cruise” event to an early close.
Clovis Police Capt. Roman Romero said in an email that there were no injuries from the incident. Officers were called to the scene, where they went on foot pursuit after the suspects. According to the email the officers were unable to positively identify the suspects or make an arrest.
Romero said there were no other notable issues with the Draggin’ Main events. Officers were tasked with traffic enforcement during the celebration, resulting in 28 traffic stops, 23 citations and 10 warnings.
