Air show comes to Cannon on Saturday

Look. Up in the sky. Down on the ground, too.

Cannon Air Force Base is hosting its firs air show since 2018, starting at 9 a.m. Saturday.

The Wings Over Cannon air show is free.

Here's the schedule of events:

o 9:00 AM: Main Gate open to the General Public

o 10:30 AM: Weapons Load Crew Competition

o 11:50 AM: Opening Ceremony with National Anthem

o 12:00 PM: Aerial Performances Begin

o Performers

o Headliner: A-10 Demo Team & Heritage Flight with P-51

o AFSOC Capabilities Exercise

 AC-130J Ghostrider

 U-28 Draco

 CV-22 Osprey

 MC-130J Commando II

 26th Special Tactics Squadron

o MQ-9 Reaper

o USAFA Aerobatic Glider Demo Team

o KC-135 Demo/Flyover

o B-1B Flyover

o 2:00 PM: Aerial Performances End

o 3:00 PM: Main Gate closes to inbound traffic

o 5:00 PM: Main Gate Closes to general public, all of general public must be off base prior to 5:00PM

The public must enter through the main gate. All personnel will have to go through metal detectors. Drivers must have a valid ID and the car's registration to be able to drive on base.
