Group believes it has enough signatures for anti-abortion ordinance vote

Victoria Robledo joined approximately 40 other men, women and children at the Bigger Than Roe rally Sunday near Prince and 21st Streets in Clovis.Robledo said, "Roe vs. Wade fell when I was 6 months pregnant and I was very upset. I have family members who have had abortions and I've almost needed one so I won't stop fighting." The rally was sponsored by Eastern New Mexico Rising and was organized around the anti-abortion ordinance that was recently passed by the Clovis City Commission according to co-founder Laura Wight.

Members of Eastern New Mexico Rising believe they have enough signatures to bring about a Clovis citywide election over the city's anti-abortion ordinance.
