CMS middle schools "secure and move" lifted

Clovis Municipal Schools are reporting Secure and Move mode at Gattis, Marshall and Yucca Middle Schools has been lifted following an investigation by law enforcement which has concluded threats posted to social media are unsubstantiated.

At approximately 10 a.m. Friday, Gattis, Marshall and Yucca Middle Schools were placed in ‘Secure and Move’ due to a threat posted on social media.

Though the Secure and Move has been lifted, a law enforcement presence will be continued on the middle school campuses for the remainder of the school day in an abundance of caution.
