Gusty winds will be blowing around unsecured objects over the next two days and tree limbs may be coming down. The National Weather Service predicts gusts will reach 50 mph today and Tuesday, with sustained winds at 25 to 40 mph both days.

“Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles,” NWS warns.

Some good news: Rain was spitting on eastern New Mexico late Monday afternoon and more could be on the way.

NWS warns “localized areas of blowing snow will be possible, creating reduced visibility.”
