Cannon to hold PFAS meeting

CANNON AIR FORCE BASE -- The27th Special Operations Wing is scheduled to host a virtual public meeting at 5 p.m. March 16 to provide updates to the Department of the Air Force’s on-going actions to address per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) identified at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico.

This is the first 2022 quarterly meeting focused on the Air Force’s response to PFAS. Environmental project managers from the Air Force Civil Engineer Center will provide program status updates and will answer public PFAS questions, according to a news release from Cannon.

The Air Force welcomes and encourages public participation and involvement, the release stated.
