Road upgrades to finish March 18

The Roosevelt County Road Department is working on South Roosevelt Road U, from South Roosevelt Road 9 to South Roosevelt Road 11 and also South Roosevelt Road Q, from South Roosevelt Road 8 to South Roosevelt Road 9. Both of these projects are expected to be completed March 18 weather permitting.

According to a press release from the road department these roadway projects are upgrading dirt roads to caliche roads as part of the Local Government Road Fund Grant.

The press release included a request for all residents to drive slow and watch for heavy equipment and personnel when in these areas.
