Area high school graduation-related events continue to be rescheduled on short notice, and many are by invitation only. For current information, contact schools or a 2020 senior.

• Blood drive — 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Ingram Room, Clovis Civic Center, 801 Schepps Blvd., Clovis. Register online at http://www.bloodhero.com. Advance appointments strongly recommended; all donors must arrive wearing masks. Information: 877-258-4825

• Deadline to apply for local small business Covid-19 relief program through the City of Portales and Roosevelt County Community Development Corporation — 12 noon. Applications are available at https://www.portalesnm.gov/egov/apps/document/center.egov?view=item;id=1368 Applications will only be accepted electronically. Completed applications and required documentation must be submitted in full to [email protected] Conditional Grant award notifications will be made beginning June 3.

• 575 Foodie Fest social distance food truck race — 11 a.m.-4 p.m., various locations in Clovis. Pre-register by May 23 at https://www.facebook.com/events/237308917354006/. The $20 registration fee includes a t-shirt that will be delivered by June 3. Participants (wearing masks) are invited to wear 575 Foodie Fest Dash t-shirt and take self photos with every participating food truck at their home locations. • Covid 19 recovery fund — assistance available from United Way of Eastern New Mexico to help with housing, utilities, food, etc. To learn more, call 2-1-1 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday

• Free lessons from Albuquerque Public Schools — aired 8 a.m.-noon Monday-Friday on KENW 3-2. Lessons include sign-language interpreter and some Spanish-speaking classes. Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays: 8 a.m., grades K-1 Fundamentals/English Language Arts Writing; 9 a.m., English Language Development (bilingual); 10 a.m., grades 2-3 English; 11 a.m., grades 4-5 English. Tuesdays/Thursdays: 8 a.m., grades K-1 Math/Science; 9 a.m., English Language Development (bilingual); 10 a.m., grades 2-3 Math/Science; 11 a.m., grades 4-5 Math/Science.
