Summer reading program begins

CLOVIS — Public school officials in Clovis are encouraging students in grades pre-K through eight to read throughout the summer with help from area businesses.

The district’s summer reading program begins Thursday, with students who bring completed reading logs eligible for a summer treat while supplies last at the CMS administration office at 1009 Main. Reading logs were sent home with students, and additional logs can be picked up at the administration office or online after May 31 at the district website:

Reading logs may be turned in until Aug. 9.
