“Before She Was Found” by Heather Gudenkauf offers a gripping thriller about three young girlfriends, a dark obsession and a chilling crime that shakes up a quiet Iowa town. Meanwhile in Cairo, Amber’s fiancée breaks off their engagement after being told some unsavory facts about her future husband. Penrod’s story then goes from the depths of depravity to one of salvation.
