PORTALES — The Portales Municipal Schools Board of Education will begin looking ahead to the 2019-2020 school year this week, with the district calendar and applications for pre-K and bilingual multicultural education funding included on the agenda for Wednesday’s meeting.
The agenda also includes recognition of winners of the Destination Imagination and Patriots Pen Essay competitions and approval of the La Casa Summer Lunch Program to use the Valencia Elementary cafeteria kitchen.
Monday’s meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the board room at the L.C. Cozzens Administrative Offices, 501 S. Abilene.
