Weekly specials included:

• half-gallon of ice cream for 47 cents

• three pounds of hamburger for $1

• Choice Tender round steak for 89 cents per pound

Allsup's was open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. 365 days a year. It was a member of The Associated Grocers, featuring Shurfine products.
