Chamber taking nominations

CLOVIS — The Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for awards to be given at its 2019 chamber banquet.

The banquet is scheduled for Jan. 18 at the Clovis Civic Center. Ticket sales begin Dec. 3.

Nominating forms are available either by calling the chamber at 575-763-3435 or by downloading the form at clovisnm.org.

The following awards are open for nomination:

• Citizen of the year

• Chamber volunteer of the year

• Business of the year

• Heart award

• Ken Huey patriot of the year

• Ambassador of the year

• Lifetime achievement award

The nominating form includes past recipients for each award. Award nominations will be accepted through 5 p.m. Dec. 28.
