Adcock jumps into short go for breakaway roping

CASPER, Wyo. — Eastern New Mexico's Lindsey Adcock ended the third day of the College National Finals Rodeo by improving upon her time from Monday, and doing just enough to reach the finals.

Adcock entered Tuesday night in 21st place in breakaway roping, with an average time of 11.9 seconds.

On Tuesday during the Performance Category, however, Adcock improved her time to 11.8 seconds, making her eighth-best on the night.

Adcock's performance jumps her to 12th overall. With that, the senior made herself the last one in to Saturday's short-go round finals.

At press time, Celie Vick was competing in the Performance Round in goat tying on Wednesday night.

Landon Beardsworth, meanwhile, will compete in his third go-round on Thursday night.
