Curry County Retired Educators

Introduced and welcomed by President Eileen Massey, the Clovis High School Chamber Choir, under the direction of Mr. Sean Galloway, entertained our attending CCAER members with a delightful selection of music for the season.

We invite all retired Curry County teachers to join us at the group’s next meeting Jan. 2 at K-Bob's at 11 a.m. for lunch, 11:30 a.m. for the program. Area Legislators will discuss legislation to be addressed during the upcoming 30-day session and topics of concern to working teachers.

Beta Phi

Eight members and two guests attended the club’s lunch meeting held at Fat Boys Barbecue in Clovis: Collene Baldwin, Jeannette Bass, Sandra Heath, June Jeter, Laura Loflin, Patsy Lorenz, Royce Lorenz, Beverly Miller, Suzy Moore, D.J. Slaughter. Beverly Miller was the hostess.

Beta Phi members and guests — Collene Baldwin, Jeannette Bass, Zane Headlee, Richard, Laura Lofline, Patsy Lorenz, Royce Lorenz, Beverly Miller, D.J. Slaughter, Jennifer Rueino with her children Samath and Mybel, Laura White, Zoey White — were in the Christmas parade with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. There were many more people on the sides of the street than last year. It was great parade.
