CLOVIS — Five local students won awards at the seventh annual Clovis Community College Juried Art Show on Wednesday, according to a press release from CCC.
CCC students Tanya Bennet won Best of Show for oil painting “Here or There,” Abigail Dart earned first place for digital photography “St. Louis Arch,” Schree Mayfield earned second place for oil painting “Wookie” and Miles Waters won People’s Choice for pottery “Brother of a Different Mother.”
Eastern New Mexico University student Michelle Perry earned third place for sculpture “Rachelle.”
The art pieces will be on display at CCC’s Eula Mae Edwards Museum & Gallery until Jan. 19.
