September 13, 2017

CLOVIS — Vince DiFranco is no longer administrator at Plains Regional Medical Center and Dr. Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital, according to a statement released Tuesday by Presbyterian Healthcare Services officials.

Amanda Schoenberg, senior corporate communications specialist, said in the release:

• DiFranco has left the organization as of Aug. 31, and a search is under way for qualified candidates to replace him.

• Troy Clark, vice president of regional operations for Presbyterian Healthcare Services, will serve be interim administrator at both facilities.

No reason was given for DiFranco's departure from PHS.

“We appreciate Vince’s service to both hospitals and wish him well in his future endeavors,” the release said.

Attempts to contact DiFranco were unsuccessful.

DiFranco moved to Clovis in February 2015 to begin his new position as administrator for PRMC. Before moving to New Mexico, he spent four years as the chief executive officer of Community Hospital in Torrington, Wyoming.

Administrator duties for Trigg were added in February to streamline operations at both facilities and allow for more sharing of physicians and specialists.
