PORTALES — A Portales man was killed in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday morning, according to a New Mexico State Police press release.
The release said:
• Around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, NMSP officers investigated a crash on New Mexico 202 near mile marker 4 in Roosevelt County.
• Roy Albert Brown Jr., 63, died at the scene.
• Brown was traveling eastbound in a semi-tractor/trailer when it appeared the vehicle exited the roadway and became disabled on an embankment.
The crash remains under investigation.
