Our People: 'Military brat' calls Clovis home

Angela Ogletree calls herself a military brat and says she has lived in many places. She spent her school years in Clovis and graduated from Clovis High School in 2000. She was a Wildcadette and loved to dance and cheer.

She moved away from Clovis for a while but eventually moved back to the place she calls home. Her father, Bob D'Spain, is retired from the Air Force. She has one younger brother, Kyle D'Spain.

She is the Gattis Middle School cheer coach to who she calls an "amazing group of young ladies." Ogletree is the mother to 13-year-old Tamara Ogletree who is also on her cheer team. She said her daughter both dances and cheers.

She works at St. Clair & Massey Orthodontics in Clovis.

What do you like about your job(s)?

First of all I love working at St. Clair & Massey Ortho because aside from the fact that I'm helping to create beautiful smiles but the team also strives to impact lives by being a positive influences and giving people the confidence they didn't have before. Its amazing how changing someone's smile can help them blossom to a new person right before your eyes. I love the before and after, and even the in between procedures; just being apart of the lives of my patients. I work with an awesome group of doctors and team. I also love working as the Gattis Middle School cheer coach because as much as I get to help these teen girls I get to watch them blossom as well, and improve their cheering skills which improves their self esteem. I learn so much from them. Each girl leaves a mark on my life.
