Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
I had to call my cell phone company to ask a few questions this week. It was easy enough to get the right number, but I then had to listen to a long list of menu options. I hit the wrong option a couple of times and as a result spent about an hour on the phone listening to a computer. It really made me miss the days of home town customer service.

I remember days of rummaging through the neighborhood for empty soda bottles. When we had collected enough we would go to the local grocery store and cash them in. On most occasions, whatever we made off of the bottles we spent right there in the store. Most of our neighbors were more than willing to give us their empty bottles.
Today, I am amazed by the fact that we could collect bottles, cash them in and spend the money all within three blocks of our house. We would always leave that little corner grocery store with a treasure of candy, soda and other treats that were special.
I don't remember all of the options, but I sure remember the good old home town service. And I didn't even have to press 1.
