Berry: No quick store runs for me

A few days ago I had to take a quick run to the store to pick up a couple of items forgotten on the previous trip. Since I just needed a couple of items I

just ran to the local big box because it is closest to my house.

It was the middle of the day and I expected to get in and out in just a few minutes. I had a pretty good idea where the things were that I needed so I headed right for them.

Just inside the door I saw the mother of a child hood friend so I stopped to visit with her. A few aisles over I ran into a teacher from my high school days. We had to stop and catch up on the last few years and some of our mutual acquaintances. Within a short distance I had seen a coworker from many years ago, a former softball teammate and a cousin who lives locally but I never seem to see.

Before I knew it I had been in the store for over an hour and I still had not found the items I was looking for. All in all I would say the trip was worth it.
