County manager re-elected to board

Curry County Manager Lance Pyle was re-elected to the New Mexico County Insurance Authority’s workers’ compensation pool board on Wednesday during the 80th annual conference of the New Mexico Association of Counties held in Hobbs.

Pyle, who currently serves as the board’s chair, was re-elected for a two-year term and will represent Colfax, Union, Mora, Harding, San Miguel, Guadalupe, Quay and Curry counties.

The pool, which consists of 31 counties, provides medical and lost-time insurance coverage for all county member employees.
