New Mexico’s primary election will be held Tuesday for county, state and national elections.
The following are local county positions on the ballot and their candidates:
• District 1 commissioner: Democrat Dennis Lopez
• District 2 commissioner (in order they will appear on ballot):

• Roosevelt County clerk: Republican DeAun Searl

Early and absentee voting end Saturday with polls open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the county clerk’s office and noon to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Memorial Building.
The following is the list of Voting Convenience Centers available in Roosevelt County for the Primary Election Day on Tuesday. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
