Six Rams named to girls District 4-4A team

The results of the All-District 4-4A girls basketball team has been released. According to Portales coach Wade Fraze, the 12 members of the All-District team are voted on by all coaches in their respective districts. Going a perfect 6-0 in district play, the Lady Rams had six players voted to the team.

Portales senior Kambrey Blakey was named the district MVP and senior Sheraya Cox was named the district Player of the Year. The other Lady Rams named to the All-District team are senior Bailey Shillings, senior Bailey Rowley, junior Sky Marianito and sophomore Zamorye Cox.

Ruidoso had five players selected: Korey King, Lia Mosher, Waki Littlespottedhorse, Hailey Evans and Dennise Martinez while East Mountain had Ryann Warren.
