An organizational meeting was coming up with by-law updates and the hiring of umpires and an official scorer on the agenda.

Red Rogers was Clovis’ league president.

1951: Wagons were headed westward into danger and Allan “Rocky” Lane was riding to the rescue with blazing six guns. In other words, “Covered Wagon Raid” was showing at the Yam theater in Portales.
