Produce on the way: The next Produce to People Market is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico.
The program features a variety of fresh produce provided at no charge, according to a Food Bank news release.
Officials ask that anyone interested bring two to five plastic shopping bags to fill up and carry home.
The Food Bank is at 2217 E. Brady in Clovis.

Texico, Elida students honored: CEV Multimedia has awarded two area students with the Jerry Franklin Pursuit of Excellence Scholarships.
Kevyn Thompson of Texico and Kynzi Creighton of Elida are the winners.
“Both Thompson and Creighton are well-rounded young ladies who are actively involved in their local FFA chapters, members of the National Honor Society and participate on athletic teams,” according to a CEV news release.
The scholarships are for $500 each.
Franklin was a longtime ag teacher, FFA advisor, basketball coach and mentor at several New Mexico schools, the release said.
