WICHITA FALLS, Texas — Midwestern State scored less than eight minutes into Sunday's match and never looked back, scoring a 4-2 victory Sunday over Eastern New Mexico University.
The Mustangs (16-0-1), ranked No. 2 in Division II, got a goal and two assists from Albert Rodriguez, and generally dominated every category to keep the Greyhounds (6-8-1) from a late-season push at a .500 record.
Rodriguez assisted on Leon Taylor's goal just 7:42 in, than scored his own on a cross from Juan Farres nearly nine minutes later for a 2-0 lead.

The Greyhounds didn't get on the board until the 37th minute, when Alexis Medina scored on an assist from Carlos Viveros.
Viveros scored a goal of his own in the 63rd minute, and tied for the team lead with three shots. The Greyhounds were outshot 23-8 by the Mustangs, who got goals from Christian Okeke and Laurence Chamberlain in the second half.
Richard Goss faced just three shots on goal, and made one save for Midwestern State, while ENMU's James Gutierrez stopped seven of the shots on goal he faced.
The Mustangs, who improved to 20-2-3 all-time against the Greyhounds, notched the third undefeated regular season in program history.
