Events center manager back at work

Curry County Events Center Manager Joelle Reed has returned to her managerial role at the events center after about a week on paid administrative leave pending a job-related investigation.

Reed works for Spectra, the contracted management company for the center,

Spectra spokesperson Ike Richman confirmed Reed’s return as manager on Wednesday and declined to elaborate on the investigation.

“Spectra did a thorough investigation, and that’s a good reason why the county contracts with them; they get to the truth,” Reed said. “The investigation is over, and we want to move forward.”

Reed declined further comment on the investigation, citing company policy.
