Briana White, a 5-foot-9 wing player from Phoenix, has signed a national letter of intent to play women’s basketball this season at Eastern New Mexico University.
White transferred from NCAA Division II Dixie State, where she averaged 10 points, 2.8 rebounds and nearly two assists per game in 2013-14, and ranked second on the team in 3-point baskets. A business administration and physical therapy major, she spent her first year at a junior college and will have two seasons of eligibility left at ENMU.
“She brings a tremendous amount of length and athleticism to the wing positions,” ENMU coach Josh Prock said. “Having played a year in the competitive Pac West Conference will help her (transition) to the Lone Star Conference.”
White is the 10th signee for Prock, including former Dixie teammate Miranda Moore.
