Club notes — July 19

Hi-Plains Toastmasters

Hi-Plains Toastmasters Club No. 9782 met Tuesday evening in the theater room of Wheatfields Senior Living. There were four members present.

Toastmaster for the meeting was Leticia Zarate, club president. Gerald Leon Guerrero was awarded best speaker for his prepared speech on his work philosophy. The best Table Topics (impromptu) speaker was Erin Fujimoto, who was asked about using her cosmetology training. Fujimoto was also awarded best evaluator for evaluating Area Director Kevin Wilson's speech.

The next meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday at the theater room on the second floor of Wheatfields.
